“Lonely for You” is Armin van Buuren’s first single to work with American singer-songwriter, Bonnie McKee. The song talks about the struggles faced in romantic relationships. In this case, it talks about someone who is trying to move on after experiencing a serious heartbreak from their previous relationship.
During part 3 of Episode 900 of his radio show, A State of Trance, Armin revealed that he will be releasing a new single to celebrate Valentine’s day.
It was premiered during Episode 901 of the same radio show and it was chosen as the “Tune of the Week” and at the same time, the club mix was also premiered which was different from the original version containing more progressive trance elements to the remix.
The song was released February 15, 2019 through Armada Music.
